Anyone who’s had eyelash extensions has probably been told multiple times DO NOT WET LASHES FOR 24HRS!! Buttttt that’s not true!! All eyelash glues need moisture to cure!... All of them! Every single one! All glues have the same ingredients! Those ingredients need moisture to cure and become one! Some lash techs (like myself) will use something called a NanoMister to gently mist the eyes/eyelashes after application to help the glue cure. If you live in a very dry low humidity climate it could take up to 24hrs for the glue to cure on its on. If you live in a very humid climate it could take anywhere from a few hours to 24hrs for the glue to cure on its own. This is why I recommend wetting your lashes after getting them done! Not soaking them! Gently wetting a spoolie and brushing your lashes will do the trick! It not only cures the glue but it reduces any fumes being released lessening any irritation that may occur! You still want to avoid high heat like, -Saunas and Steam rooms -Ovens, yes sticking your face to close to a hot oven can damage your lashes! -Hair tools(straighteners, curling wands) -Smoking, the smoke can damage your lashes!
