Resin bookmarks are typically made to order and can take anywhere between 10-15 days to complete. The colour and design possibilities are absolutely endless. Bookmarks can be fully customized and personalized. They are the perfect gift for that bookworm in your life! Bookmarks are created using a food-grade resin and although they are quite durable and can withstand some abuse, they should always be handled with care. ... All bookmarks are 1" wide and 0.1" thick. The are available in 3 lengths: 3.5", 5.5" and 7.5". Price per bookmark ranges from $10-$17 depending on size, style and design/personalization.

Introducing the the perfect coaster for that perfect cup of java! Created using a food-grade clear resin, coffee beans and gold leaf. These coasters measure 4x4 and stand at 0.5 tall with a lip. They’re available in 3 shapes: square (pictured), round and hexagon. Would you use these just for coffee or with all your drinks?

Happy Sunday! How did you spend your weekend? The Glitter Designs household had a birthday on Thursday so our weekend started a little early as we quietly celebrated at home with a special and custom cake-topper (and cake)!

I’ll be honest... I was not expecting the doormats to be such a hit! I also did not expect myself to enjoy making them as much as I do! The possibilities of what you can put on a doormat are pretty much endless. Make a statement about who you are, make that delivery guy laugh or greet your guests before you actually open the door! Here’s a peek of one in the making...... I’m happy to announce that, although I am removing some offerings and services from the Glitter Designs line up at the end of this month, the doormats are here to stay! What would your perfect mat say? Would you change them with each season or holiday?

Have I mentioned before how much I absolutely love receiving photos from customers with their pieces?!? Check out this cuteness!!! I am in love and whatever ruckus they cause... they are forgiven!

A Valentine’s Day themed shadowbox you can have on display all year round... inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I think this is one of my fave colour combinations to date. Do you prefer traditional reds and pinks for your Valentine decor or are you drawn to the more unconventional colour palette?

Is it too late to make a New Years resolution? As I was going through some of my older photos and videos I came across this time lapse of another Bob Marley canvas piece. That’s when I realized that I have not touched a canvas in months. It’s true, I had a couple Christmas orders but they were for replicas of pieces I had previously made... it wasn’t anything new. Although I love recreating pieces it’s not the same as making something for the first time. This year I’m goin...g to make it a point to create more glittery canvas pop and fan art! This guy is on a 24x18 wrapped canvas. I used extra fine red, green, gold and obsidian (black and a touch of charcoal and silver) glitter. The canvas is sealed with a water-resistant (not water-proof) acrylic coating which keeps the glitter from chipping, fading, cracking and transferring - also making it safe to touch and handle. From start to finish he took approximately 18 hours to complete (not including drying time). I work with one colour at a time and seal in between, giving each coat ample time to dry before I start on the next one. ... who should I glitterfy next?!?

Not perfect (yet) but not too shabby, if I do say so myself! Still have so many more colour combinations to try and next round I’m definitely going to be more liberal with the dyes.
