This is what we and many peace activists and organizations around the world are focusing on. Every educational opportunity for our youth is welcome and I encourage all to attend this upcoming conference and spread the word to out youth who will be leading the world. https://www.linkedin.com//sustainabledevelopmentgoalsyou/ The future of our planet depends on these goals. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, p...rovides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests. Free for all to enjoy a wonderful array of artists through song and dance, such as the Wild Moccasin Dancers, Glisha, Roma Gry, and others from the Southeast Asian Cultural Heritage Society (SEACHS), the Chinese, Nepalese, Vietnamese, Taiwanese communities and our schools. We will listen to social justice advocates, prominent authors and speakers of our time such as Seth Klein one the founders of the Canadian Center for Policy Alternatives, Trenton Pierre and Rochelle Prasad, too many to list. As before, we will recognize the winners of our 2020 Peace themed Literary and Visual Arts contests. See you all there! See more
