Defining the problem is difficult enough. Mapping out the solution is even more challenging. There is enough blame to go around three times over - the Liberals, the Harper Conservatives, the drug manufacturers, and the governmental agencies that either misread the clues or could not formulate action plans worth a damn. One thing is certain. There will be more pandemics and our future prosperity requires more vaccines and better public health delivery systems, not more oil or pipelines.

This is a well-reasoned article. It is true, no one is out to get Alberta. In fact, much has been done to help stabilize and diversify the economy. The sun is shining on Alberta, but some industries are facing the sunset, while others an illuminated by the sunrise. It's time for certain sectors to turnaround and reinvents themselves.
