They both remove surface cells at a deeper level than what we can achieve with a facial scrub at home, and when done at the appropriate intervals, they will stimulate cell turn over and collagen synthesis What’s the difference? Dermaplaning uses a medical tool that l i f t s the cells away. This allows us to treat more delicate skin types, while still exfoliating efficiently. . Many of you may know that I lost my mother in May to a rare cancer called Cholangiocarcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer). . As my family and I struggle with her loss, we feel that something needs to be done in her memory, in hopes that we can prevent other families from experiencing the shock and devastation we have. We lost her 70 days after her diagnosis. ....
