Let’s chat MEAL PREP :: :: What day do you meal prep? Do you find meal prep intimidating and/or stressful? Would it be easier if you had tips/ tricks and possibly a guide to help you? ::... :: I’ll be honest with you, I meal prep for clients but I find I don’t do it for myself as regularly as I should. I enjoy it much more when it’s for someone else weird right? But I love getting insight on what others struggle with when it comes to their own meal prep. Happy Friday friends! . I woke up at 6:45am today, and I’m not mad about it I’m about to enjoy a tasty breakfast and matcha, then hit up the gym for a full body workout and theeennnn type up a new recipe for the blog. Sometimes waking up early and not being able to fall back asleep is a good thing (last time this happened, I got all cocky about waking up early and all my tasks that I was going to finish and then I fell back asleep by accident and woke up at 11am a...ll out of it so hopefully that doesn’t happen this time). . . Pancake deets: @pamelasproducts Gf almond flour pancakes stacked w/ mixed vanilla and plain Greek yogurt, fresh peaches, a drizzle of maple syrup and pistachios . . . What are your Friday plans? Client salad prep though my favorite part of client prep has always been salad prep. I love pairing different bright colored veggies and fruits together with fresh local greens, nuts + seeds and healthy fats + proteins. Some of my favorite combos are: . . . 1. Maple salmon, spinach, strawbs, dill, and goat cheese w/ a fresh homemade berry vinegrette ... 2. Roasted full chicken, roasted beets + yams, a bed of spinach and creamy tahini sauce 3. ‘Buddha’ bowls w/ mixed greens, 5-7 mixed veggies, shredded chicken or crispy tofu, quinoa and a creamy dressing of some sort. This often includes a cashew lime honey dressing or a almond/peanut dressing. All served with avocado (of course). . . This is SUCH a good way to get a variety of different veggies in your bod while having your meals taste amazing! Always look for bright, colourful veggies that compliment each other and don’t be scared to try out new ones (like this gorgeous watermelon radish^). Soo, these muffins lasted a whole 3 days in our place *cough* josh *cough * which means you should probably make them ASAP! They taste like moist blueberry cake (esp if you heat them up and melt a bit of butter in the middle, then put the muffin back together and let it melt through) #protip #notmyfirstmuffin . . .
