When my Dad was going through his cancer treatments, the closest treatment Center for him was a 5 hour drive away from home. Which meant that there were lots of added expenses for him just to be able to receive his daily/weekly/monthly treatments, accommodations, food, you know the drill. And because the Center was so far away, it was difficult that we all couldn’t be there for him like we wanted to. My heart stills thinks of how tired and worn out he would be when he ret...urned home after a series of tests or treatments. At that time the Cape Breton Cancer Center was only a dream. This Center allows families to be with their loved ones at a time they need it most and they need our help! Equipment and resources are needed and I am determined to help! Please drop a for each person you’ve known who has had cancer to show how many lives it touches. Please consider placing an order on my site.
