When is the best time to shave? I get asked this question ALL the time when it comes to spray tans. Ideally, you shave and exfoliate 24hours before your appointment. This 24hours gives your pores and hair follicles time to close up. If you aren’t blessed with fine, blonde hairs on your bod please follow the 24hour rule. If you want to avoid: streaking (from razor moisture strips that leave a residue) & freckles - when spray tan solution pools in the tiny freshly opened hair follicle and give you a freckled appearance wherever you have shaved. Trust me, there are days when I’ve done all the big no-no’s... just always tell your tanning tech so we can adjust our methods accordingly :)
