Great Lakes Police Motorcycle Training Seminar

Today, we remember the officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty in Ontario. Heroes in life, not death. The GLPMTS Committee is honoured today to present the Ontario Police Memorial Foundation with a cheque for $2500. This was made possible by the generous sponsors, the Sudbury Police Service, and the participants of the 2019 GLPMTS event. In total, the 2019 GLPMTS event raised over $5000 for charity. We are committed to supporting the Ontario Police Memorial Foundation and other great charitable oganizations while providing excellent training.

Committee Meeting Completed and Cone Patterns Practiced. Police Motorcycle Instructors from across the province together in one place. Honored to have Chief Larkin from WRPS attend to see some of the amazing things we have in the works for the Seminar Event in 2021.

The G.L.P.M.T.S. cone trailer has arrived in Waterloo! COVID may of caused us to cancel the seminar this year, but its not stopping our committee from trying out some new cone patterns tomorrow after our meeting! (While Social Distancing of course) Stay tuned for more updates. Enjoy the Weekend!

We are excited to hear that Premier Ford and the Ontario Health Care Experts have seen a flattening of the curve for Covid 19 and have begun to make plans to reopen businesses! We remain optimistic that we will be able to run our training seminar Aug 19-22. Like the rest of Ontario we will continue to do our part and await further news on the situation. Stay Tuned!
