Gunna try to keep this short and sweet. As many of you are probably aware by now, The BAC will not be reopening, which means we will not be reopening either. To be clear, that does not mean Im done. This gives me the freedom to have something I can call my own and finally lay Georgian Martial Arts to the rest it deserved long ago. I will rebrand to something that stands out. Reorganize the system. Modernize a lot of outdated aspects. It will be awesome. Bad ass even! Everythi...ng will be ME from the ground up, not leftovers from 20 years ago. but it will take time. This was unexpected and priorities right now have to be me getting a job so I can afford my rent. If you wish to continue training please do so! Send me a message and I can point you to the good schools, and ones to stay away from. As for me, there has been some interest in teaching privately. I will look into that, just need some time to process, and how to do it in a way that compliments this virus. Please feel free to chat with me directly if you need anything. You can also add my personal facebook page if you like. Look in the comments below. I am proud of what we have accomplished, especially in the Fast growing teen class. I really felt it was the start of what Im talking about here. GMAA and I could never live up to the full potential I wanted with it being stuck in the past. That weighed me down a bit. Some days it was uninspiring. If you know the history of the school, you'll understand. Now is the chance to start my story instead of picking up someone else's. The rebranding will start with this page so don't be shocked if things change. Kees me in the loop if you do decide to move on! I still would love to see everyone's progress in achieving whatever life brings! Arigato Gozaimasu - Sensei Kritsch

How is everyone doing out there? Hope everyone's families are doing alright. I am doing alright, but I find myself eating a lot more! Any of you the same way? Some sports are staring back up but sadly martial arts schools are not allowed to reopen during phase 1. I miss the dojo. Gunna break down My quarantine day. what does your days look like? Follow some of my layout to sneak in some training REMEMBER TO THROW A TECHNIQUE EVERYTIME AFTER YOU STAND UP. ... - Wake up and stretch ( I usually do this every morning ) - 20 push ups 20 high angle push ups, 20 sit ups , 20 squats - Breakfast - For me I usually have a bowl of cereal or a Begel with Coffee and Vitamins - After breakfast I'll usually clean. You can easily add training in during cleaning to make it fun. Throw kicks while walking or stances etc. - Shower / Freshen up - Kicks , your choice 60. Kicks are my favourite. We all may be a little rusty when we get back, but I garuntee my kicks won't be. Haha I practice them a lot! - Read news on my favourite things. I try to stay away from actual news. Nothing good comes from the actual news. - LUNCH TIME! I usually eat my big meal at lunch. About an hour to eat and relax. - Use the energy from lunch into something productive. Perform Kata, throw 100 punches in 60 seconds. Do a small work out plan. Anything! Just don't stay on the couch. - Work on something during the afternoon. For me I have Japanese lessons. It's super hard to learn to read so far. I've also got Game Training with my NYC crew. - start cooking dinner. Tonight is Fish and Chips? - Do the dishes. Add in squats here. - Netflix after dinner. - Late work out. I love this the most. I'll usually do sit ups, plank or something along those lines until exhaustion. Add in some combinations. Today I will focus on Jab uppercut roundhouse. I find this really puts me in the mood to sleep Later. - late night Tea with some light reading. Nothing that includes bad news or Horror before bed or It will influence my dreams. I usually like to read some fantasy stuff here. - SLEEP then start again. It's like Groundhog Day! All the best. - Sensei.

For those that are curious, The best classes come from those that are planned. All of the classes I lead have all been thought out and written down as I will demonstrate below. I take time before everyone comes in each day to lay out all of the day's lesson plans on paper. The 45-minute classes look like this. Complete the class for a stripe! WARM UP - Run, or Lunges across floor followed by sumo stance walk + P,S,J ( Pushups, sit ups, Jumping Jacks ) 20 each - 5- 10 min... - Stretches - 5+ min BASICS - 10 - 15 minutes - Hook punch backfist combo - 10 each side - Font kicks - 5 each side - Roundhouse Kick - 5 each side - Put them together- Hook punch, back fist, Front kick, roundkick - 5 each side - Blocks - 10 of each level followed by San Dan Uke ( three level block ) - 5 times STANCES 5 - 10 Minutes - Walk across room forward and back in 3 - 5 different stances. example, Forward leaning, Sumo, Cat KATA 10 - 15 MINUTES - Kata, All from bottom to current rank - If student has a Sibling, each student must watch each other and point out at least 2 things that can be improved in kata practice TIME REMAINING - Sparring / weapons if able, If not skip this - Self defense ( Wrist locks, collar grabs ) If able. If not skip - COTW ( Challenge of the week ) - How many times can you perform a Front kick, side kick, back kick combo without putting your foot down? END So this is a general lesson plan that could be used for any level at home. Usually, I will write one out for each class I teach. Hope everyone is staying safe, see you all soon. - Sensei

Hope everyone had a good Easter! Got a challenge for today and maybe the next while. Since most of us are stuck at home, we could easily use this time to level ourselves up! Try to learn something new everyday! Let me know what you guys learned today. I have got myself some Japanese lessons and class plans that I will be diving into this week!

Hello Everyone! Yes, I am alive and well! Small update for you all, If you were unaware, I recently moved into this apartment about two weeks before this craziness all went down. I had no internet, so previously I had uploaded the videos I did from my phone ( Which cost quite a bit due to going over data. Oops! ) But I now have internet up! Life has been strange, and perhaps a bit scary for some recently, but we will get through it. I also have spoken to Sensei Mullin and Sen...pai Busby and they seem to be doing okay as well. I am unsure what the future holds for us, or when we will be back, but I will continue to volunteer my time to keep this page updated with content students can use to continue to earn stripes. Class plans, Challenges and a few videos here and there will start back up next week. Any questions or comments feel free to message me directly! Miss you all, Stay safe and healthy. - Sensei Kritsch
