It’s Feature Friday! This week at G-Mac’s AgTeam we would like to welcome Randy Nickason to the team. He will be joining us as an Operations Assistant out of our Elrose location and comes to us with an education in Environmental Protection Technology from Lakeland College. When he’s not at work, Randy enjoys spending time with his wife, Meghan and their three boys, Porter, Gage and Kalder. They like to spend time at the lake hunting and fishing and hopelessly cheering for th...e Canucks and Blue Jays. Randy also volunteers his time to coach his boys in hockey and baseball. When asked what he is most excited about in working for G-Mac’s AgTeam, Randy said, I enjoy being able to help our producers in any way and helping to keep them rolling along in the field. It’s nice to be able to work in the town that my family is actively involved in and to be given the opportunity to work for a company that has strong roots in our community. #GMacsAgTeam #OurBusinessIsGrowing #FeatureFriday

Another Friday, another Feature! This week we would like to recognize Reid McBride, celebrating 5 years with G-Mac’s AgTeam! Reid works out of our Head Office in Kindersley as our Manager of Supply Chain & E-Business. Reid currently lives in Kindersley and loves any chance to talk about his three girls, Jacquelyn and their two girls, Jayla and Kenzie. He enjoys staying active in the community, being involved in various levels of hockey and golfing regularly.... When asked what his favourite thing about working at G-Mac’s AgTeam is, Reid answered, Not growing up in Agriculture, I love the fact that this industry seems like one of the last remaining relationship-based industries. From the manufacturer, to distribution, to retails and farms there are connections, people know one another, and those relationships have meaning and importance. I think G-Mac’s AgTeam has this ability to find great people, and then allows them the opportunity to develop and grow into industry leaders. The constant learning and growth to live up to the reputation G-Mac’s AgTeam has built is challenging but is a lot of fun and rewarding. Feature Friday! We’d like to recognize our fearless leader, Garth MacDonald! Garth is the President and majority owner of G-Mac’s AgTeam. Garth was a co-founder of G-Mac’s AgTeam in 2000 and has been with us every step of the way for over 20 years! Garth currently resides in Kindersley and he enjoys spending time with his three children and five grandchildren, participating in and following along with their various activities as well as spending time at his cabin at Turtle ...Lake, SK. He also enjoys participating in community events throughout Western Saskatchewan and getting to know the people that are part of the communities that we serve. When asked about his favourite thing in his 20+ years as the leader of G-Mac’s AgTeam, Garth responded My favourite part of G-Mac’s AgTeam is the people. We have a great team and I really enjoy getting to know everybody and their families. I also really enjoy the customers that I have gotten to know over the years. Our industry is filled with great people, staff, customers and suppliers. I have been very fortunate in my career to have met and formed great relationships with people from all parts of our industry. It’s time for Feature Friday! Today we would like to recognize Maury Ziegler! Maury works for FMC Ag Canada as the West Central Saskatchewan Territory Manager, and while he may not be an employee of G-Mac’s AgTeam, we sure love working with him. Maury is based out of Outlook, SK and has worked for FMC for 3 years, but has represented some of their product lines for almost 10 years. He was recently recognized by FMC for their Top Gun award for 2020! When asked about this award... Maury responded, Farmers in West Central Saskatchewan experienced a great deal of success with FMC products in 2020. This was possible because of unending retail support, collaboration with colleagues and help from other industry supporters.
