What better way to visit a museum about aviation than to fly through it? The Greenwood Military Aviation Museum recently collaborated with Pixels with Altitude ...to bring you this amazing bird's eye view of our indoor exhibit! Pixels with Altitude's owner, Flt Lt Andrew Bartlett, has been in the Annapolis Valley for 3 years as an exchange pilot from the Royal Australian Air Force, currently serving with 405 Sqn.

1944 in the Annapolis Valley. Just kidding! This is actually our fully restored and operational Willys Jeep along with Bob Johnson (L) and Dave Saulnier (R) dressed up for the part. Both were part of the restoration team along with Chris Young that completed the project back in 2013.

The Piasecki H44 helicopter neared completion this fall with only a few more decals to go and the installation of the rotor blades remaining. With winter weather having arrived early, it will have to wait until the spring now.

An Expeditor Update: We had a slow summer this year with most members taking extended holidays, some getting needed medical attention, and still others moving on to different hobbies. But it's that time of year again when we've all gotten so tired of raking leaves and stacking wood, that even drilling out rivets is almost like fun. And that's exactly what we've been up to. Gary Mazella sent us this great photo of the Dak today. He said he was making an early morning Canex delivery and brought his camera along for the ride. Is this awesome or what?

We've been busy preparing the H44 helicopter for decals over the summer. We mentioned we had a bad batch of primer and had to repaint the top half of the fuselage, but with that done, we were ready with tape measures and ladders to mark out where each one went. We'll have to wait for the return of warmer days before we can stick the large roundels on... hopefully October will be nice enough. And thank goodness they're self-sticking decals and not the kind you have to lick! Click on the photos for more details.
