Storyscapes: Muncha! Muncha! Muncha! by Candace Fleming. In art we retold the story through illustration and created a bunny to use as a drama character. In drama, we pretended to be Mr. McGreely protecting his garden with wire, water, wood. and stone. Bunnies always found a way in, including the final sneaking into the picnic basket!

Today in Storyscapes we read Pete the Cat and his Four Groovy Buttons. The children used chalk pastels to draw two Petes and then glued groovy buttons to one and a belly button to the other. In drama we re-enacted the story, getting up for some groovy dance moves every time Pete sang his song.

If your kids are struggling with recognizing which shoes go on the correct feet, here is a quick and easy way to help! Have your child pick out their favorite sticker. Cut the sticker in half. Place each side in the corresponding shoe.... When your child goes to put his or her shoes on, all he or she has to do is make the sticker match! With this easy trick, kids can learn independence, confidence and how to tell their left from their right. They will be putting their own shoes on and running into the classroom to play in no time. Good Morning is looking for an RECE or equivalent for a position as a part time program assistant to support a child joining our program with enhanced support to ensure a positive inclusion experience. Please see attached posting and share with your contacts whom qualify and might be interested. There is room for growth at the preschool once we are back to capacity and all of our programs open up again.

For a minimum donation of $285 you will receive a 6 bottle mix of artisanal, organic wines produced by small independent winemakers from around the world. These wines have been specially selected by sommeliers Mike Rochon of Fauna, Simon Hodgson of Riviera & Alex McMahon of Arlo. The case is made up of bot...h red & white wines and range from classic & crowd pleasing to esoteric & wild in style. These wines are also quite special in that they are typically allocated only to top restaurants and are not found on the shelves at the LCBO. Each box contains sommeliers information sheets which include tasting notes, suggested food pairings and some fun notes about the artisans.
