REBUILD UPDATE These are some things that we have been working on the past few weeks! - The back hallway walls are up for our smoke house room, dry storage room, fermentation room and pickle cooler. ... - We also got the walls framed for the spice room, tool room and our new washroom. - A huge project the past week has been installing the freezer and coolers. These are built out of 3'' and 4'' panels. The freezer is a 30' x 18' unit holding all of our custom beef and pork once it is cut. And the 2 coolers are 12' x 18' units for our fresh meat and ready to eat products. - The new front entrance is all framed and ready for the new steel! See more

REBUILD UPDATE Some things that happened this week.. Moran Mechanical are doing both the plumbing and electrical for the rebuild! This week they installed our new boiler that is 97% efficient! Pre-fire, we had 7 hot water heaters through the plant to give us enough hot water for sanitation and in floor heat. This boiler will replace all of the water heaters that were damaged in the fire! ... We put up some interior walls this week! Thanks to Gary Caldwell and some of his guys for coming a day this week and helping us get these walls up! REBUILD UPDATE Over the past couple of months, we have made some BIG progress!! At the end of November, the exterior walls were put up and we have a roof! ... The concrete floor was poured in cutting room and smoke house room. A major improvement we have made with this rebuild is updating the drains from the original building. We decided to take out all the old drains in the cutting room and instal a 20’ floor drain. Exterior walls are all insulated to keep us warm while we start the work inside. We are now ready to put up the interior walls and get things going inside the building!! We are hoping to post weekly / frequent updates to keep you all up to date and show you what is going on with the rebuild!

To our valued farmers and customers, we are saddened to share that Greens Meat Market in Wingham suffered a devastating loss due to fire during the night of June 24th. Given the extent of the damage, it leaves the building in a condition where we are unable to continue immediate operation.
