Gobind Sarvar students made handcrafted lanterns, each of which represent a Shaheed during the Battle of Chamkaur, 1704. In the lanterns are also saroops of the Chaar Sahibzaade and Mata Gujri Ji. Every sacrifice ignited a lamp for generations to come. This very spark lives to this day strengthening our faith, no matter the odds we face. For every lantern hung there were 125,000 standing against them but even to this day, their flame glows untainted. If it weren’t for your sacrifices, how could we ever be saved? These odds still stand against us today and our will to stand up for our faith is fortified knowing that these lanterns represent what they represent. How do we ever repay you or express our Love for You as You did for us?
