ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT I'm both sad and happy to announce that there will be a tiny change happening at Goddess Studio. As of July 2nd, 2021, we are officially moving to Norwich, Ontario! ... I'm happy because, for those of you who know me and my family, you know that we've outgrown our home, so with our move comes more space and new adventure! (I'm all for change!) I'm sad because I will be leaving the amazing community I've been calling home for the last 9 years . I am forever grateful for all your support over these years. Your friendship, your loyalty, the laughter, and sometimes even tears, are things I will never forget. With all my heart, I thank you Now, with all this being said, this doesn't mean that Goddess Studio is closing. Beginning mid July (date to be announced in future) Goddess Studio will reopen it's doors from my new home at 258 Poldon Dr. Although I won't be conveniently down the street, i'm still not too far away! I'd be more than happy to serve you any time! So, I guess this isn't a tiny change like I said in the first sentence but until then, my doors will be open (permitting all this covid nonsense) until June 30th. Love you all -Venus

An orange shirt because of six year old Phyllis Webstad who was proud to wear the orange shirt her grandmother bought her for her first day at St. Joseph's School in Williams Lake B.C. On arrival at the Mission, however, she and all the other children were stripped of their clothes, and Phyllis never saw that orange shirt again. "The colour orange has always reminded me of that and how my feelings didn't matter, how no one cared and how I felt like I was worth nothing," she said. PLEASE READ Dear Clients: We are excited to hopefully be opening up soon, but before we do, we would like to inform you about the new protocols and procedures we will be following once we are able to open Goddess Studio. We also ask that you read and follow these protocols in order to maintain everyone’s overall safety and wellbeing. ... 1. If you’re experiencing ANY symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms of Covid-19, please reschedule your appointment until after 2 weeks of self-quarantine. This also applies to all medical staff/workers. 2. Cancellations can be done at any time! If you or anyone you are in contact with is having any symptoms, please cancel your appointment. 3. Do not book an appointment if you have traveled or are in contact with anyone who has traveled until after you have completed 2 weeks of self-quarantine. 4. Upon arrival of your appointment, you will be asked to sanitize your hands. Hand sanitizer will be provided. 5. Masks MUST be worn to your appointment. You may remove it, once told to do so, should it be necessary for your treatment 6. Please come to your appointment alone. No guests/visitors are welcome at this time. 7. Please only bring belongings with you that are needed/essential. 8. Payments will only be accepted by e-transfer. 9. No outside food or beverage is permitted on the premise. 10. Please arrive to your appointment at the time scheduled. To avoid clients coming in contact with one another, and to allow us the proper time to sanitize the premise, avoid arriving early. If you are early for your appointment, please stay in your vehicle until the scheduled time. We will be taking these protocols to ensure everyone’s health and safety: 1. Self-screening to ensure everyone’s health. If I, or anyone in my household, at any time feels symptomatic, all appointments will be canceled until further notice. 2. Masks/face-shield and gloves will be worn at every appointment. 3. All surfaces and tools used will be sanitized before each appointment, including doorknobs, light switches, handrails, pens, etc. 4. Just as prior to Covid-19, all non-disposable tools, ex. Lash extension tweezers, will be sterilized between clients. 5. Single use tools will be used as much as possible, and garbage will be emptied out regularly to avoid spread of germs.
