She graduated Nursing from Durham College in 2009, and throughout the last 11 years, has worked in various areas of nursing including Long-term care, ER, Medicine, and day surgery. She found her groove in 2014 when she became certified in all necessary and essential maternity/obstetrical courses, so she could pursue the obstetrical nursing path. Immediately she knew that this was her niche. In Claire's opinion, "assisting new parents learn about their newborn and educating them at such a vulnerable and emotional time in their lives is truly the greatest privilege". Now that the Goderich Holistic Health Centre is open, I think its time to introduce myself! I'm Nicole Klasen, and I'm the owner of the Goderich Holistic Health... Centre. I'm an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, and in 2019 earned my Master of Practice in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences. I opened Goderich Osteopathy in June of 2019, but it has always been a dream of mine to open a holistic health centre. I'm currently 8 months pregnant, so the opportunity to open this centre came up when I least expected it! But after lots of hard work, sweat, and tears, we are finally open. I am so excited to share this centre with the community.

At Goderich Osteopathy, it is important that you feel confident in the treatment you are getting, as well as knowing that this is a clean and safe place. Every inch of the practice was cleaned and sanitized, and now I am excitedly awaiting the gradual re-opening on Friday June 12th! To keep your minds at ease, the practice will be cleaned and sanitized at the end of each day. I have added extra time between appointments so I can properly sanitize the treatment room and any frequently used surfaces/items. After lots of patience, Goderich Osteopathy is finally able to open on Friday June 12th! With this being said, it will be a very gradual opening. We will need to limit the number of patients per day. There is a large list of precautionary measures that are being taken as well: - All reading material has been removed. - Sanitizing stations throughout practice.... - Every patient will be screened the day before (via phone or email) and the day of the appointment. Please reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell. - Continue with the rigorous cleaning of the treatment table and pillows between every patient. - Debit tap or e-transfer only transactions (no credit card or cash). - Practitioner will wear a mask. - Patients must bring a mask, or they can buy one from the practice for $1. I will be contacting all patients on the Appointment Waiting List tomorrow.
