Shannon Rose Scott is sharing four DIFFERENT monthly 3 week series classes of Sound Baths combined with Restorative, Yin, and Kriya Yoga classes! To All Students and Families of Goderich Martial Arts: With the recent change to the Orange Level of the provincial response framework for Huron County, and the confirmed case within the community, we wish to provide you with an update on our response and commitment to you. The health, safety and well-being of our instructors, students and guests is top priority of Goderich Martial Arts and we continue to follow the lead of Huron Perth Public Health. We are committed to pr...oviding safe experiences at our martial arts school. We want to reassure our students and families that we are taking all appropriate measures to ensure our spaces are safe and that we have existing plans in place to ensure they remain this way and will continue to monitor the developments very closely. On top of our usual safe practices, we continue to implement additional measures to ensure the safety of our instructors, students and guests including: Enhanced cleaning protocols, with a particular focus on high traffic and high contact areas by routine surface cleaning using industrial-grade cleaning products Maintaining communication and reminders with our team, students, and families on relevant health and safety measures, and follow through with the use of available hand sanitizer, masks, physical distancing and signage for the prevention of spreading infections To protect yourself and others, we ask that anyone who is feeling unwell to please refrain from attending classes and/or visiting the dojo so that together we can ensure a more safe and comfortable experience for everyone. Every year, we have done a food and clothing drive to send boxes of needed things to families and shelters in Nunavut. We are sending boxes of needed items to a... men’s shelter in Iqaluit, NU. As well as supporting local out of the cold program in Goderich. This year is different and we know many are in need and not able to give. If youre not able to give but want to be involved, there is a pen pal initiative to mail youth and teens in the community. There is that feeling of being connected to others we could all use right now! We are accepting donations of the following: As the cold weather sets in, those who are homeless are some of the first to suffer. This year we have an urgent need for the following: winter coats or parkas pairs or winter boots pairs of ski pants pairs of mitts hats Thermal underwear Underwear and warm socks . These articles of clothing are so important to these men because if they have the appropriate clothing they can go with others out onto the land where they can gather country food to provide for themselves and others. Yoga Den KIDS YOGA is coming to GMA! Kids yoga Saturdays 9am. Ages 7-10 years old. We are so excited to see everyone and move our bodies! We have squares sectioned off for our very own yoga spots!... Join us with Rachel Feddes from Raven Yoga to learn about yoga and the ways we can connect to self, and our community. By exploring, movement, stretching, breath work, Sounds and Play!
