Hello everyone! We miss you. We are pretty excited that we've been given the green light to open. We're working on it and hope to have an opening announcement soon. In the meantime, we please ask that you hold on to your generous donations for awhile longer as we haven't quite figured out the donation process yet. There are a lot of safety factors to consider. This is still considered illegal dumping. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Its National Volunteer Week! Wed like to thank all our volunteers who make our work possible. Although many of our volunteers are keeping safe at home while our ReStore is temporarily shut, were looking forward to the day we can welcome them back. Thank you to every Habitat Huron County volunteer who has supported us and continues to support us during these challenging times.

Dear Habitat for Humanity supporter, I am writing to provide an update about the measures Habitat for Humanity Huron County is taking to protect our staff, volunteers and the people we serve during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. These measures are based on guidance from Habitat for Humanity International, Habitat for Humanity Canada and local, provincial and national public health authorities. We are continually monitoring the situation, and our approach may change as ...new guidance is provided. Given the current circumstances in our area (please go to www.hpph.ca for details), our Build will continue with added precautions. In addition, our ReStores will remain temporarily closed. We will send out additional updates as conditions change. Please know that we are constantly monitoring the situation and will update our plans as new details emerge. Every volunteer helps families build stronger and more stables homes and communities.

Just a friendly notice to the public: Please DO NOT DUMP items or garbage on Habitat property. Not only is this illegal and punishable by law, but every time you dump, Habitat absorbs the waste removal cost, lessening the amount of money put towards building homes for families in need in Huron County. Donations are accepted only at the donation door, and only during business hours. Thank you.
