Thank you to everyone who came and helped us move from St. Andrews to Grace MB. Especially Bill Rich who brought his giant truck. We are all purged and organized, ready to restart in a couple of weeks. Thanks also to Kevin Mullair for the rubber bins - perfect for today! Our new partners at Grace are simply amazing. Pastor Blake built us a computer and offered us our own office to assist clients. Tim Gladdish assisted with organizing us and keeping us caffeinated.... We are all looking forward to what God will do next at our new location. Come and see us on July 5th!

We are on the move! Please tell everyone that God's Kitchen has been invited by Grace MB church to relocate our ministry there. We had a planning meeting and did some God sized dreaming about some upgrades to the space. The unity we feel is just so powerful. Here are the dates for your information and to pass on to our guests and volunteers. SUMMER BREAK... We are over the one year mark of leading God's Kitchen. People have summer jobs and family vacations. I personally, feel the need to rest my arm completely or it won't get better. So we discussed the following schedule: June 14 & 21 will be our final days at St. Andrews. We will distribute posters to guests and leave posters outside at St. Andrews. Move equipment to Grace and have a purging/organizing day. June 28 & July 5 God's Kitchen closed for a break. July 12 - First meal at Grace. Simplified (possibly outdoor) cold breakfast (coffee, water, muffins, toast, oranges etc). from July 12-August 30 - no Monday prep in Summerland. Possibly some training days with Pastor Graham Horsnell from the UK who currently runs similar ministry there. Clothing distribution to continue as Free Store & Salvation Army closed for summer. Particularly socks, underwear, shorts, hats, toothbrushes, bandaids. September 6 Grand opening celebration with full hot meal inside.

A shout out to Trevor & Meghan at Summerland's "Granny's Fruitstand" on Hwy 97 for providing bread and sweets for God's Kitchen for their second year in business. Do check out their cafe for lunch too - it is delightful! They have beautiful shaded outdoor seating as well. #GrannysSummerland
