S H O P U P D A T E As we are entering into a new phase of protective public health measures, we are reworking our holiday schedule. We want to make sure we are as available as we can be for your pregnancy, postpartum and baby essentials, while balancing some much needed time off as we bring this unbelievable year to a close. We are open from 10-4 for in-store shopping through December 24th.... We won't be offering our usual Friday delivery On December 25th and January 1st. We will be doing deliveries (today) Tuesday, December 22nd and Tuesday, December 29th from 3-5pm. Following public health recommendations, we'll be closed for in-store shopping with the rest of the province on December 26th. However, we will be closed for curbside pickup until Tuesday December 29th. Our website will be unavailable from 6pm on Sunday, December 27th until the morning of Tuesday, December 29th while we do our annual year end inventory count. We know celebrations of pregnancy and the birth of your baby this year have not exactly been what you expected. But you and your babies are still (and always will be!) so very dear to our hearts. So we've been working on a little something new! A little back story to start. Because of required shutdowns and then out of an abundance of caution, we put a hold on hosting or renting out our new community space, The Hive, which opened in March 2020. With covid lockdowns, changes t...o business operations, unavailability of our wonderful and dedicated staff and other factors, we've had to use this space quite differently. We always wanted The Hive to be an open-ended, flexible space but never could've imagined that we'd be using it as we have been the last number of months! It's been a stock room, shipping centre, showroom, photography space, and just generally a big room for things like physically distanced one-on-one baby carrier consultations and staff meetings. In truth and full honesty, we're not yet sure how long we'll be able to keep this additional space. BUT! We are always looking for local partnerships and opportunities to celebrate you and your new baby. And with all this extra space at the moment, we've got the ability to host a small, by appointment-only, one-on-one event as the cool weather arrives. We are partnering up with WP Creations Kingston who make beautiful keepsakes to remember just how tiny your sweet baby's fingers and toes once were. A great gift for grandparents too! This October 24th event will be by-appointment only. We will absolutely be taking every safety precaution and risk reduction effort we can.
