Getting older is inevitable, it’s a fact of life. However, just because we are aging does not mean we need to give up or stop doing the things we love to do. To live a long, healthy and vibrant life we do need to make some lifestyle choices to stay active. A little moderate exercise each day such as going for a brisk walk, swimming or lifting light weights can help you stay at a good weight and keep your blood pressure down. Its also important to eat well and get plenty of good quality sleep. I am sure you are like me, we don’t want to just live a long life we want all our years to be full of life.

We all know that our skin is the largest organ of our bodies and that it absorbs whatever we put on it. We should then at the very least educate ourselves about what ingredients are in the skin care and cosmetics that we are using.

This weight loss plan is by far the best plan that I have ever done and I have done a quite few over the years. Initially, I did the program 3 times between Sept 2017 and April 2018. In between I followed the Real Life phase. The best part is that I have maintained the weight loss for 3 years this month. I follow the program from time to time as I love the process and the feeling of having control over what I choose to eat. I have learned the skill of weight loss while not having to give up any food groups. I do include our healthy snacks along with enjoying a wide variety of foods including lots of treats. #R3weightlossplan

Our bodies need carbohydrates to work well. One of the primary purposes of carbohydrates in our diet is to provide fuel for our bodies. Most carbs get broken down or transformed into glucose, which can be used as energy. Carbs can also be turned into fat (stored energy) for later use. However, not all carbs are created equal. Carbs are sometimes referred to as simple versus complex. Complex (whole) carbs are unprocessed and contain the fiber found naturally in the food, while simple (refined) carbs have been processed and had the natural fiber removed or changed.
