Did you know that writing on a vertical surface is key for developing strong wrist muscles, promotes proper pencil grasp & so much more?! Our classroom easel always has an activity on it & we like to get creative using our large whiteboard to encourage kids to have fun with some vertical surface activities. Hi everyone! Our socially distanced AGM will be held Thursday August 27th at 6:30 PM. We will be in the outdoor space located between Gold Bar School and Gold Bar Community Hall (4620 105 AVE). Here we will be discussing what the upcoming year looks like and what your roles and responsibilities will be. Please come prepared with a pen (bring a chair too if you wish!). We kindly ask that if possible you leave children at home as we have a lot to do in one hour. We will also be using this time as an open house so if you have questions now is the time to come see us - we will have registration forms on hand. We know our open house is an important opportunity for parents to meet the teacher and see our classroom space. We are currently hoping to host an open house before school starts, likely at the end of August. In the meantime we encourage you to check out our website (link can be found above) and if you have any questions reach out via email. We are closely monitoring the email and strive to reply to inquiries as quickly as possible. (However we are a parent volunteer board w...ith many other tasks so please be patient). We are accepting registrations and encourage you to register sooner rather than later with no risk as registration fees will be refundable due to the current circumstances. Spots are limited and we may have to decrease our class size to operate within the Covid-19 guidelines. If class size needs to be reduced we will be operating on a first registered basis.
