Happy Sunday everyone! I'm on Holidays at the end of the month for a couple weeks. So for all your furbabies that need a grooming get them booked before June 28th I have some spots open.

Here is a little insite of how Gold Clip Dog Grooming became what it is today! In 1990, already having professionally shown and groomed my own dogs (Golden Retrievers) for ten years, I decided to take that extra step and make the commitment to being a full time student (again...) I enrolled in a college and obtained my degree in Canine Sciences and Animal Handling, acquiring the tools and knowledge for being the professional dog groomer I am today. From there I had a shop... built in my home where I could raise my family, along side having a career in dog grooming and still show dogs. With the 25 years of running and managing my full time business I acquired 200+ regular customers working 5 days a week. As the the years went on, the shop went through several renovations, the kids grew up and moved out, And we had a house bigger then necessary. We made the huge decision to move across the country. We found ourselves owning a farm bordering a provincial park in Grandview Manitoba. It's coming on 6 years now and we have become a fully operational hobby farm specializing in sheep and having a whole new outlook on life. You learn to slow down and not take the small things for granted. My husband has built an add on to the house where the new home of Gold Clip Dog Grooming now runs. With my English Springer Spaniel and my Great Pyrenees , it keeps me focused on my love for dogs. Having to start over on building clientele that took me 25 years to build in BC, it is now starting to grow here in Manitoba. In hopes on having the business I had ,but with the new faces i've met here and see everyday. Thank you to all my loyal customers who have stuck with me, and to the customer/friends we left behind. Couldn't have made it the business I have today without you all Dog owners , come and stay and enjoy the simplicity of farmlife and beautiful scenery while their dogs get pampered and come out feeling brand new. This journey has been a long road but we can't wait to see what the future has in store for us. Here's to a fantastic new year. Cheers!
