What’s the difference between an emergency kit and a grab-and-go bag? Following a disaster, you may need to stay at home with your emergency kit. It should hav...e enough supplies, including food and water, to sustain your household for three days to one week. A grab-and-go bag is a smaller version of your emergency kit that you can easily take with you if you have to leave in a hurry. Since most of us live in areas with multiple hazards, you should build an emergency kit for your home, and grab-and-go bags for each member of your household. Learn more and find a complete lists of items to include in your kit and grab-and-go bags at http://ow.ly/hh8Y30oBGMs
It's fantastic to see the community interest, and to know that so many people are working towards FireSmart-ing their properties!
