Golden Key Dalhousie Events 14.12.2020

Reminder that our year-end AGM and elections meeting is this Wednesday at 6:00 pm in Room 1016 of the Rowe building! We encourage ALL members to attend the AGM/elections, regardless of if you are running for an exec position (we will have free pizza and snacks!). Golden Key Dalhousie Events 25.11.2020

Our info night on careers in medicine and psychology is being hosted TODAY at 5:30 in Room 2017 of the McCain! We will be joined by Dr. Logan (a pediatric surgeon and member of the Dal med admissions committee) and are lucky to now also have Dr. McGrath (a clinical psychologist at the IWK) joining us! If you're interested in medicine or clinical psychology, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more!

Golden Key Dalhousie Events 20.11.2020

If you’re interested in medicine, we’re hosting an event this Tuesday February 28th with two leaders at the IWK: Dr. Logan (a pediatric surgeon) and Dr. Kahn (a neuroradiologist). Both doctors are on the admissions committee for the med school at Dal and will be providing information about their careers and advice on how to prepare for medical school. The event will take place in Room 2017 in the McCain building from 5:30-7:30, and light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by LIKING this post to reserve your spot at the event!

Just a reminder that we’ll be having an info session/election meeting tomorrow for new and returning members! Our reservation was changed, so we will now be meeting in room 1020 in the Rowe building at 6:00 pm. See you there!

Update: the new time for our information session is Wednesday, September 28th at 6:00 pm in the LSC psychology wing (room number TBA). We will have information on our upcoming projects and our new chapter scholarship, as well as elections for any new or returning members interested in joining our executive team! The available executive positions include: Spread the Net Executive (1 position) Spread the Net Director (up to 3 positions)... Movember Project Director (up to 3 positions) SPARK a Change Executive (1 position) SPARK a Change Director (up to 3 positions) Bring it for the Bees Director (up to 3 positions) Photography/Social Media Representative (1 position) To run for a position, you can give a short speech (approx. 1 minute), then the people at the meeting will vote. An executive role is the head role for a project, and a director role means you would work with the executive and other directors to plan the event. Hope to see you there!
