Ages 6-14, March 15-19, 9am - 2pm March 22-26 - SOLD OUT Each day campers will learn about handling horses, both in and out of the saddle. They’ll explore the barn and learn how to care for horses, as well as learning things about them like colours, breeds, tack and more! NEW! Saddle Club Friday Nov 6th 3-6 Saturday Nov 7th 9-12 Extra barn & riding time! Being offered for independent riders in the current lesson schedule, kind of like a supervised lease. This is an opportunity for riders to get to think for themselves while riding and applying all the things they’ve learned in lessons, and a great next step for the more serious riders looking to full lease or compete eventually. ... Requirements: Riders must be able to (mostly unassisted) catch, tie, lead, in blanket, groom, tack/untack, mount the horse, and ride up to a posting trot minimum. Open to riders in the current lesson programs only. Only 3 spots available each day. $60 inc gst / day

Boarding Available in October! We have a #goodvibesonly barn group, made up of people who just enjoy their horses, mostly western & trail riders. We have the cutest barn cats and dogs, and the barn is located right in town! We’re looking for responsible and fun adult boarders. This barn caters mostly to flat disciplines, and runs a full time lesson program during the week & camps during the summer but we are all able to share the arena. Shows & events sometimes happen on wee...kends. What we offer: * Indoor arena * outdoor round pen * 12’x12’, rubber matted stall with auto-water & attached all weather paddock * tack locker * 2 pallets for hay/bedding storage * horse trailer parking available * seasonal pasture turnout * Morning feedings included (boarder preps & provides feed) * Lunch & Dinner feedings can be added on at an extra cost * Stall Cleaning available at an extra cost **No feed or bedding is provided or sold here. Timed events count towards high point prizes, but every clean run gets a ticket to cash in at the prize table, so no one leaves empty handed! 10am Start Costume Class Barrel Racing Polebending Flag Race Keyhole Speed Ball Divisions 19 & Up 18 & Under Walk/Trot All Ages HCBC Membership & GQH waivers required to participate. Entry Fee $50/Horse & Rider Entries due by 9pm Thursday October 22nd, 2020 Front parking lot is being used for pumpkin patch, the front doors are also locked so we’ll be using the back parking lot. Unfortunately this is not a spectator friendly event; due to COVID-19, most of the barn will be closed off to public, so please only bring who you need to participate (parent, spouse, groom, sidekick etc).
