Another year has come and gone, and what a year it has been! After the initial fear of not being allowed to open, followed by the protocols which had to be put in place, as well as the cancellation of all of our corporate events, our annual fundraisers and our family and group functions, we were allowed patrons in our park and on the course. The fear of the unknown and concerns for safety of all was a dark cloud which hung over us the entire year, but with the help of all, we... got through it. On a ‘normal’ year, Ivy and I like to thank everyone and pass on our appreciation to all who do so much for us at our annual Windup; however, with that cancellation, we were not able to do so. I would like to take this opportunity to do so now. The loyal and devoted team that works with us deserve all the credit in the world for the tremendous job they did getting us through not only this difficult and unusual year, but faithfully, every year. Thank you so much for your outstanding devotion, in our efforts to make Hidden Valley such a special place! Thank you also to all of our friends in the Seasonal Park. With all your concerns and assistance, you all make it so easy for us to do what we love. And lastly, thank you so much to all of our seasonal members, our ‘camping patrons’ and our ‘walk in’ golfers. Thank you for sharing your time at Hidden Valley! Your smiles are our rewards! On a sadder note, this year we lost three dearly loved ones, who have been long time residents of our park. Ken Bezuko, Mary Gill, and long time friend and member Gail Andres, so admired and loved, are sadly missed and have left an irreplaceable mark on our little community. Hopefully this year we can properly honor them and their memory This year, with all it’s challenges, has shown us the tremendous importance of love, caring, friends and family. This Christmas season, with all of the protocols and regulations, will be especially challenging, but our resilience will get us through it. We so look forward to renewed joy and happiness and seeing you all in the New Year! Ivy and I would like to extend our warmest wishes for good health, happiness and love to you all, and may 2021 be the reward for the trials we have endured this year. Much Love! See more

Wishing all a safe and healthy Easter!!

When we closed last fall, who could have anticipated the situation and challenges that would welcome us this spring! "Golf Courses are not accessible to the public at this time because they are a non-essential service" says Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta's chief medical officer. We have started work clearing snow off the greens and as spring progresses, the maintenance staff will continue with the necessary course preparations for an anticipated opening, adhering to distancing an...d safety guidelines. Our club house and camp grounds adjacent to the club house will remain closed until further notice. Our summer village or seasonal residential area however, will open and be accessible to all who have ownership in the village; however, in this time of uncertainty, outside visitors will be restricted. Social distancing must remain in effect at all times and all group activities will be prohibited. Hidden Valley Golf Course will adhere to and abide by all legislation implemented by provincial and federal authorities at this time and will continue to do so until such time that these temporary restrictions are relaxed. This is not the way we had planned this spring, however, safety of all is paramount. We thank you for understanding and look forward to a speedy return to normality. Another golf year has come to it's end. Hidden Valley is now closed for the season...Ivy, myself and our team, wish to thank you all for your continuing and overwhelming support. It seems that this short season has ended far too early. We hope that all of you who shared a part of your time at Hidden Valley this year, had enjoyable and memorable experiences. Thankfully, our farm community was blessed with enough good weather to complete the harvest, late as it was. We hope that the winter passes quickly and look forward to the next season. Thank you all!
