Our fave office products One thing I was set on with starting this business was it to being as sustainable as possible. I know too many large companies that take the cheap route to make a buck. The environment suffers every time. That’s not what we’re about.... This planet needs us to change our behaviours - like, yesterday. I wanted to demonstrate the cost difference in some simple office supplies that I use sparingly, but regularly. This printer paper is 100% recycled. It cost $10.49 for this package. Regular or cheap (non-recycled, virgin) paper was $5.99 for the same number of sheets. It wasn’t even a question for me which I’d buy. For me, the environmental cost of the cheap stuff was greater than the financial cost of the recycled. The sticky notes are also made from recycled paper and with plant-based adhesives. These run for $24.99, their non-recycled counterparts for $23.30. A closer race, but still no contest in my mind. Hold your brands accountable, and use your consumer dollars wisely, my friends. It is possible for us to make a difference with each purchase we make. My skincare go-tos! Shoutout to @urban.nest.apothecary for getting me into these products, my skin has been looooving them (especially the Facial Recovery Oil). I use the Mangosteen Cleanser at night and use a face cloth to exfoliate, (ballin’ on a budget!) then the serum afterwards....
