We are working on adding nesting boxes to the adorable old shed we picked up that will be our next chicken coop!

This is what greets me every morning when I go to feed the chickens and goats! Mabel hardly likes me to touch her but 2 chickens on her back? No problem

I’m so excited! I finally learned how to figure out protein percentages and made our own chicken feed. Ever since last spring when chicken feed wasn’t as easily available, I’ve wanted to acquire this skill. And look at those ingredients- I know what they are and they are all things we can eat.
