We have our live devotion today, looking at Matthew 18:21-35 and the wicked servant who can't forgive a car loan when he's been forgiven the US debt. We are also singing hymn 843 "Forgive Our Sins as We Forgive."
For our devotion today we're talking about how kids are awful and that's great! We're going over Matthew 18:1-20. The hymn for today is 725 Children of the Heavenly Father.
Today we're looking at Matthew 16:21-28. Peter, the rock, is called Satan, and Jesus talks about the cost of discipleship. We sing hymn LSB 710 Jesus Lead Thou On.
For the Wednesday devotion today we are going to be looking at Matthew 16:13-20 and the confession of St. Peter. We will be singing from LSB 517 By All Your Saints in Warfare verses 1, 10, and 3.
The Wednesday Devotion for August 19, 2020. We are looking at the Canaanite woman and Matthew 15:21-28.
The Wednesday Devotion for August 12, 2020. We are looking at Matthew 14:22-33 and Jesus walking on the water. We will then be singing hymn 849 Praise the One Who Breaks the Darkness from the Lutheran Service Book during our prayers.
The devotion and prayer time for August 5, 2020. We'll be looking at Matthew 14:13-21 and the feeding of the 5,000.
The town of Amherstburg has been working on getting profiles for the non-profits in town in order to showcase what each organization offers to the community. They are doing this through a database that they have constructed and a series of video interviews. This is a recording of the delightful conversation I had with Cindy about our congregation.
