Big shout out to all the pets in our lives. Dogs, cats, birds, lizards and snakes, whatever you call your pet, even if it's your neighbour's dog that you get to scratch once a week when you see them outside. Pets give us so much in return. Just treat them well. These souls are there to show us how to love unconditionally. Woof! Tweet!!

Give yourself permission to take a nap. You are not being weak. Instead, you are being proactive and taking care of yourself. When we are stressed our bodies need time to learn how to shift from stress response back to rest response a natural process that our bodies are forgetting how to do automatically. Get good at napping. 20 minutes a day. Try it.

Start a habit of stretching. It limbers you up but also it can help calm your mind. It’s easy these days to be stuck in our heads with all this f**king uncertainty. Get into your body and breathe. Stress isn’t going away you will get better at handling it.
