Please take this reminder to please, please keep your dogs away from the river at this time of year. The river is very dangerous when there is ice or the water is high, and even dogs with a great recall can make a mistake. If your dog gets stuck on the ice, please call rescue services for help rather than trying to retrieve them yourself.

It took my dog until the age of five to take longer than 30 seconds to eat a bully stick.
