The last customer of Goodfellows Field to Fork was served today and I can’t help but reminisce over the last 5 years. We found this village by accident, as if called here. We built this great little bakery cafe and immersed ourselves into your lives and community. Over the last few days I’ve been pouring over all the stories of how our little shop effected you and impacted your lives. We watched husbands and wives become moms and dads. We watched long lost friends reunited. ...We saw strangers become lovers. We shared in your heartache and your triumphs. We shed tears over lattes and celebrated with Nutella Pockets. With every Focaccia, every Breakfast Pie and every little pizza we saw each other, we connected. I want you all to know how grateful I am for all of your love and support over the years. I grew to know myself better through knowing all of you. I’ve made life long friends and memories that I will cherish forever. So with that I cheers a final farewell to Goodfellows Field to Fork.
