Located at 28 Bruce Street Sout...h in Thornbury, Good Grief operates as both a cafe and a wholesale coffee supplier, and aims to be more than just another coffee shop. Under the current provincial restrictions, they are open for take-out from 8am-3pm, Wednesday-Sunday. They offer local delivery and worldwide shipping for online orders of their delicious, in-house roasted beans. Orders are roasted and shipped/delivered on Mondays only, so have your orders in by 6am EST on Mondays. They also carry some seriously cool merchandise and coffee accessories. Please read this post carefully to avoid disappointment in the next couple of weeks In light of the recent lockdown measures taken by the Ontario government, we’ve decided to close cafe service effective noon on Thursday, December 24 through to Wednesday, January 6 We also just straight up need a little break and some time to catch up on sleep after an incredible and epic holiday season ... What this means: - we are open Wednesday, December 23 from 8:00-3:00 and Thursday, December 24 from 8:00-12:00 - the cafe will be closed until 8:00 am on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 - we will still be roasting and fulfilling online orders for shipping and local delivery while we’re closed BUT we won’t be doing it every day so you may still wait a couple of days before fulfilment - no orders will be fulfilled between December 24-28 - we can accommodate some requests for in-store pick up, but we will work with each of you to sort out the details as needed - we will not be at Good Grief every day and appreciate your understanding and patience during the next couple of weeks If you have any questions please feel free to shoot us a message. Here’s the deal though: we roast on Mondays, so moving forward all online orders placed before 6:00 am EST on Monday will be accounted for in the roast and prepared and shipped on Tuesday. Any orders received after that time will be shipped the following week (Tuesday). This is something we’ve always done with our wholesale clients, but we love you guys so much we’re upgrading you to their service too #upgradeyou We’ve been as quick as possible in fulfilling orders to date and we want to keep that same service, but with only one roasting day a week, and a growing demand in the cafe itself, we just can’t keep up ... yet!
