The Alberta government announced that the province would return to Step 1 of the ‘A Path Forward’ framework, effective at 12:01am on April 7. What does this mean for GoodLife Clubs in Alberta? According to the framework, "only one-on-one training is permitted for indoor fitness activities" at this time. This means that effective at 12:01 am on April 7: Only GoodLife Personal Training Clients will be able to continue accessing select Clubs to work out 1-on-1 with their Perso...nal Trainer. Unfortunately, this also means that Members who are not Personal Training clients will no longer be able to access the Club during Step 1 of the Framework. Membership Dues: Because of this limited access, Membership dues will be automatically frozen during Step 1 of the framework. We share Albertan’s disappointment in facing another setback of this nature but in doing what is required of us by Public Health we are hopeful that all of our Members will be able to come back to our Clubs very soon.

December 24th is a big day. Not only is it, obviously, Christmas Eve, but it’s also National Eggnog Day! Opinions differ about whether eggnog is a delicious drink or a gross goop. This didn’t stop it from becoming a mainstay of the winter holidays for many. Traditional eggnog consists of eggs, sugar, milk, heavy cream, and, for adult versions, brandy, bourbon, or rumtopped with cinnamon and nutmeg.
