Happy Easter to our all gym peeps!
The Ontario Government has announced that all gyms in the province are required to temporarily close as part of a provincewide emergency brake, effective Saturday, April 3, at 12:01 a.m. In line with these new restrictions, all GoodLife Clubs in the province will be temporarily closed until further notice. GoodLife shares the common goal of eliminating the severe impacts of COVID-19 as quickly as possible while keeping Ontarians safe. We also empathize with the grief and frus...tration of our Members and Associates in the face of another lockdown. Our focus immediately goes to our people our thousands of staff and Members who will be deeply affected by this lockdown. Much like when we have needed to close our Clubs in the past, we'll do everything we can to support our Members with digital at-home options, including free live and on-demand workouts on Instagram Live and IGTV, hundreds of workout videos on the app and website, and constantly-updated content on the GoodLife blog and social media channels. Stay safe, Owen Sound. We'll see you soon. See more

1. Water cleanses the body of toxins. 2. Water suppresses the appetite and can help you lose weight. 3. Water can help you get better results from your workouts. 4. Water is a stress reducer. If you’re having trouble drinking the recommended 2-3 litres a day, try setting up a reminder. There are apps like "Drink Water Reminder" that will notify you when it's time.
January 8th National Bubble Bath Day You’ve survived the first week of 2021! Prepare yourself a relaxing bubble bath, which offers health benefits, too: Relieve congestion During the dry winter months, we are more susceptible to colds and chest infections. Let the steam from a bubble bath help loosen congestion and sooth a cough. Ease sore muscles Ease the ache with a warm bubble bath. Add some Epsom salts, too. Sleep better Add some lavender oil to your bu...bble bath at night and relax your body and mind before bed. Relaxed muscles combined with the lavender will nudge your body toward a better sleep routine. Reduce tension Let the worries of the day wash away. See more
On This Day in 1801: the very first blackboard was put up by the headmaster of the Royal High School in Edinburgh, Scotland. Before this, pupils worldwide were still using individual slates. While on the journey to become healthy, strong, and fit, everyone has moments where they feel unmotivated or want to give up. A little inspiration can make a huge difference, and sometimes it's just a few words etched on a chalkboard that can give you that push you need to stay motivated.
