It is with heavy hearts we pay tribute for Sheila Staats - longtime book selector for GoodMinds.com Tribute written by Jeff Burnham- I regret to inform you that Sheila Staats, writer, researcher and long time book selector for GoodMinds.com (1995 to 2017) has passed away at the age of 67. Sheila passed away quietly before 6:30am Thursday, September, 17th, 2020 with her brother Greg by her side.... Sheila reviewed and selected over 4,000 Indigenous titles for me, as then owner of GoodMinds.com. Her successor Alison Frayne (PHD) admirably filled the big shoes that she inherited. Many envied Sheila's job since she got to read all day (and night). I am tremendously grateful for Sheila's dedicated work over those 22 years. There is no doubt GoodMinds.com would not have the cultural integrity and academic reputation it does today without her service. The final chapter may have been written today, but her legacy as a source of Haudenosaunee history both locally and nationally will last forever. Her first cousin, colleague and friend. Jeff Burnham

There is an appendix Standing Quiver, Dreamfasters Words and Notes to Save Your Stories. Born and raised on the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, Elizabeth Doxtater, celebrates empowerment through her work as a cornhusk artist, beadwork artist, painter and writer. Review- This book is a good read and introduction to all those who are Welcoming Back Home. It provides a good snapshot of a bit of our history, our traditions, and some stories of how life was on the reserve. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it as it brought back so many memories to me of my childhood. It also has made me wish I could have heard more stories from my parents and grandparents. Well done Betts! -Ava Hill Mohawk, wolf clan. Six Nations Band Council Chief. To order please visit our online catalogue GoodMinds.com https://www.goodminds.com/dreamfast-trail-stories-lead-you-
