New year's harvest of Concord Grapes which my wife Lydia uses for making her popular signature "Good Morning Grape Juice" and "Good Morning Grape Juice Popsicles" which she sells in Regina Farmer's Market. The popularity of the grape juice is measured by the growing number of repeat customers - young and old - who love to comeback again and again to treat themselves. I would like to just mention four representative customers to illustrate the popularity of the grape juice an...d grape juice popsicles. Because I have not got their express permission to use their actual names for this post, I will call them grandma Jean, Angela, little Lea and Donald. Grandma Jean once stopped at our booth at Regina Farmer's Market with her four grandchildren on one hot Saturday morning. She bought 4 cups of icy cold grape juice to cool the kids down. Since then whenever she came to the Regina Farmer's Market, she would stop to pick one 2 litre bottle of grape juice to take home as a treat for her grandchildren. Angela is a young woman who lives nearby and works at a downtown place not too far from the Regina Farmer's Market. Each Wednesday she stops for a cup of grape juice on her break before returning to work and pays by her bank card using our contactless Square payment system. She returns each Saturday to the Regina Farmer's Market just for the grape juice. Little Lea is about 4 years old and is no doubt "the apple of her Dad's eye". Every Saturday we would spot her long way away in the shopping crowd hanging on her Dad's hand as she skipped-ran towards our booth dragging her Dad to her most favourite booth in the entire market. Once there she would chit-chat about every thing she remembers about her week as she waited for her cup of grape juice. She always left with big smiles as proof of her indulgent satisfaction. Donald is about 30, jovial and evidently mentally challenged but big on routine. He comes to the Regina Farmer's Market on both Wedneaday and Saturday at about 10.00am each time for one popsicle. So, with this new year's harvest of concord grapes we look forward to serving a horde of satisfied customers next summer with their favourite drink.
