The best way to make change is to create a habit. The easiest way to create a habit is to make it as EASY as possible so you stick to it. . If you want to drink more water then carry a bottle of water around with you, you’re more likely to drink water if it’s right beside you. . ... If you want to start working out then lay your clothes out the night before with your gym bag packed, and your shoes ready to go. If you remove all the obstacles to start working out you are more likely to go to the gym. . If you want to start eating more vegetables then cut up a bunch of carrots and put them in little bags with hummus to carry with you for when you feel like a snack. . Make the habit as easy as possible to stick to and you will succeed. . Make 1 change. Morning pages. . Every morning for the past year or so I’ve been writing. I bought this book recently to use as journal prompts for my morning pages. .... I’ll open the book to a random page/question and start writing. Whether or not I write one sentence or fill a couple pages the act of putting my thoughts of paper really helps with mental clarity. .
