TODAYS JOB! These clients were downsizing from a much larger home - we pre-sorted & packed in 3 appointments. We went through every square inch of the house to make decisions as we packed. In the next couple weeks we will be returning to their previous home to complete an Estate Sale & clear the home for the new buyers.

RECYCLING MADE EASY! Because we see such mass quantities of items that cannot be donated or sold - we try our best to recycle everything we can! Here’s a video with a few small tips! Additionally, we have systems in place - so this isn’t costing our clients more money compared to just throwing it all away! PS! I’m working tirelessly at learning how to create & edit videos. When I upload to Instagram, I cannot then share the music to Facebook - so this is just a screen recording. Please let me know if the quality is ok! (Any tips on editing apps would be greatly appreciated! Keep in mind I’m doing all of this from my phone!)

Moving a 10ft cabinet weighing hundreds of pounds - up a steep, wet driveway! This piece (and many others) is on its way to Consignment Canada! Thank you to Econo Moving & Storage! You guys were phenomenal!

A Quick Winter Purge. Depending on where you live - right now is the perfect time to look through your winter clothes & purge the items that you haven’t worn the past year (and years!) Now keep in mind - this doesn’t need to be some monumental task! For myself - I just peeked into my entry closet & realized I could lose a few items. I very easily & quickly pulled 5 jackets out of my closet that I never wear and quite honestly don’t like! They’re in a bag at my front door - a...nd I will be donating them TODAY. Not tomorrow, not once I’ve accumulated more - but today, when I go run my errands. Leaving them to be dealt with another day, is leaving a task unfinished - not to mention you’re cluttering up a space in your home by leaving a donate bag on the floor to be dealt with later.

Covid has had immense effects on all of our businesses. How has it affected ours? We now do ONLINE Estate Sales for our clients who are downsizing and moving. And guess what!? Occupied Staging not only takes a certain eye - but also the time management and organizational skills to execute the job within the timeframe allotted by our clients. This 4 bedroom, 2 living room, 2 kitchen West Vancouver home was not only staged, but also partially packed, decluttered, and organized in only 3 days. Edit: ALL items used for staging were found within the home. Nothing was rented for staging.

If you want to gain the most equity from the sale of your home - it’s all in the details. Unorganized cupboards, cabinets, drawers, and closets speak volumes to potential buyers. What is it conveying & saying exactly?... It’s telling buyers that the space either does not have ENOUGH storage OR not enough FUNCTIONAL storage. Either way - it absolutely hinders the sale of your home - and negatively affects the top dollar you could be making. This pantry below took only one organizer 45 minutes to organize so that it photographs and shows well to buyers coming into the home.
