Wooooo, here are two more cutting boards we just finished up. Edge grain is Maple with two high lights of Padauk and the End grain board is Maple with Gombe and Wenge. Both these boards have been pre-treated with Saman butcher block oil and are ready to go.

Cutting Boards, cutting boards, cutting boards. These two have recently been shipped out as gifts to Ontario and New Brunswick. The highlight wood is Purple Heart with the main body made of Maple. These are edge grain boards which are more durable than a face grain, but not as tough as end grain. We take pride in the work we do, and spend a lot of time in the design, carving and finishing of the product. Each sign is custom and made to order making each one different and unique.... Approximate Costs: All Family Signs and costs are dependent on the detailing and scope of work. Prices will be quoted in advance of the project starting. - Signs with the background removed (name protruding) sell for $75 a square foot. - Signs with the family name carved out go for $50 a square foot. (Please see album of completed signs). Just for interest purposes, a 36"X12" sign ships priority to Calgary for $25 and would ship to New Brunswick standard post for $45.
