The annual "Coldest Night of the Year" fund raising walk will be at the Land-o-Lakes Golf Course in Coaldale on February 20th. Those of us wanting to take part in person will meet that day at the golf course at 3:00 p.m.

A Prayer for the Sundays When It's Been Six Months. Because you when you got off the plane, everything was cancelled. Because you sacrificed your entire fabric ...stash for masks. Because you haven't used a public restroom since March. Because your new hobbies include sourdough & curating Zoom backgrounds. Because you're technically seeing some people more than ever thanks to Zoom, but you'd love to be in the same backyard as them instead. Because for months you didn't need a calendar, and now it's color-coded for which day which kid goes to which place. Because it's your job to figure out exactly how to bring multiple people back into the building safely. Because that guy still wears his mask below his nose. Because this was supposed to be the year when you got the promotion, went to college, got married, took that trip, finally. Because you know someone else is carrying so much more grief, so many more burdens and yet... it's been six months. It's been six months. Six. Months. Whatever we encounter, whomever we meet, may Grace be our guide. May we live into the fullness of Grace, Mercy, and Love. May the God of love inspire us. May we find the courage to make our lives and our loves a blessing. May we rest in God’s peace this night. #PrayersForDaysThatEndInY See more
