Melania Delva, the Anglican Church of Canada’s reconciliation animator, and National Indigenous Archbishop Mark MacDonald reflect on what has been accomplished, and what still needs to be done. Note that we as citizens, and Anglicans, can impact government decisions - and the one currently of interest is the adoption of UNDRIP, Delva says "she hopes to see Anglican...s join in advocating for the adoption and implementation of UNDRIP via Bill C-15, which was tabled in December... if it passes, It will be because of public pressure. In-person worship services will be resuming Sunday, September 6th, 2020 as part of the Diocesean phased re-opening plan. Please see www.anglicansinthehills.ca for a summary of changes and restrictions which will be in place. We look forward to seeing those who are ready to and able to attend.

Under direction from the Diocese of Ottawa, Anglican Churches in the area will remain closed until at least September due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This includes cancelling the Summer Evensong Series held at Holy Trinity, Lascelles. Further information regarding re-opening the church will be shared as it becomes available.

Let the bells ring out! A movement across the world has started: to ring Church bells on Sundays at noon. We will be joining today and every Sunday during the Pandemic. When you hear the bells, please join us in praying for all front-line workers: medical staff, grocery clerks, postal clerks, and all who keep our supplies going during this unprecedented time. ...
