COVID-19 Service Update In light of the concerns we are all facing as a community related to COVID-19, the Goodwill Career Centre is making temporary changes to our services in an effort to minimize person to person contact (social distancing), reduce the spread of this virus and keep our community safe. Friday November 13th is National Scarf Day and The Lawrence House will again be hosting 100 Scarves 11:00am-4:00 pm. Scarves will be hung on the fence in front of The Lawrence House and those that need a scarf may take a scarf. The scarves, mitts and hats left at the end of the day will de donated to those in need.

October is Disability Employment Awareness Month. Currently almost 22% of Canadians identify as having a disability. When factoring in friends and family 53% of the population is connected to someone with a disability. To this day person's with Disabilities are under represented in the workforce.
