Amazing tribute today for Debbie Bath-Hadden, Mayor of Brock Township. I had the pleasure of working with Debbie on Durham Regional Council and on Brock/Uxbridge community Relay for Life projects. Debbie will be missed.

The DRPS Mental Health Support Unit (MHSU) combines a specially-trained officer with a nurse from Lakeridge Health Oshawa. This team has saved lives and offers... immediate assistance to people in crisis. Jan. 27th is Holocaust Remembrance Day - paying tribute to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and reaffirming our commitment to counter antisemitism, ra...cism, and other forms of intolerance that may lead to group-targeted violence. "It would be a dangerous error to think of the Holocaust as simply the result of the insanity of a group of criminal Nazis. On the contrary, the Holocaust was the culmination of millennia of hatred, scapegoating and discrimination targeting the Jews, what we now call anti-Semitism". Although masks are mandatory in commercial establishments beginning tomorrow (July 10), we ask that residents and businesses understand that there may be many r...easons why some people are unable to wear a mask or face covering. We encourage businesses, and everyone, to do their part to work with clients/patrons and not deny service. We recognize that we are all doing our best to help flatten the curve and prevent the spread of COVID-19. We urge everyone to practise kindness and patience with one another, and to continue to work together. Please check out our FAQ to learn more about mandatory masks in Durham Region and about exemptions: https://bit.ly/2W4w8X0
