Very productive meeting today of the board of the Gordon Sinclair Foundation. We were proud to present the 2017 Gordon Sinclair Roving Reporter Bursary to journalist Annie Burns-Pieper, who will report from Madagascar. The board members had the pleasure of meeting Annie virtually when she joined our meeting by Skype. We also heard in person from last year's winner, Corbett Hancey, who told us more about his reporting trip to Lebanon, where he reported on that country's struggle to cope with the influx of Syrian refugees.
