Delayed, but not forgotten... In celebration of Gord's Running Store's 30th anniversary back in March, we asked for recollections of your first visit to Gord's. Then along came Covid, and the store was mandated to close. The responses continued to pour in, and, boy, did they make us feel good (in trying times) about what we have always strived to achieve at Gord's Running Store: treat everyone with kindness and respect, to be inclusive in helping everyone meet their personal ...fitness goals, whatever they might be, and to encourage and support the local running community to thrive. We recently read through them again, they put a smile on our faces, and we would like to thank all of you who took the time to respond. Congratulations to our 3 picks who shared stories that highlight Gord's strong presence and ongoing impact in the running community: Melody Switzer, Kris Markin, and Tony Gordon will each receive a pair of New Balance shoes and a New Balance jacket or top.
