Gorgeous You 01.01.2021

We are happy to introduce our #GorgeousWomanoftheMonth, a monthly feature on Gorgeous You that showcases a woman who inspires us and shares what makes her feel #GORGEOUSThis month, meet Anna Crollman. Anna was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 27 and is an amazing example of a woman who has used her breast cancer diagnosis to bring joy and hope to others. We were first introduced to Anna through her beautiful, bold, honest blog My Cancer Chic where she openl...y shares her cancer journey, fertility struggles, fashion and lifestyle advice and her beautiful family with her followers. In 2015 after celebrating her first wedding anniversary Anna discovered a lump on her breast. Anna’s treatment plan was surgery, chemotherapy and targeted hormone therapy. Before chemo Anna opted to have her embryos harvested and frozen in the hopes of having children one day. Anna was determined to tackle cancer by choosing happiness, strength and positivity. After discovering that there were a lack of resources for young women whose goal was to thrive through their cancer journey, she created My Cancer Chic a lifestyle blog designed to inspire women to thrive through adversity. Being a lover of all things beauty and fashion Anna’s plan was to tackle cancer with style and wanted other young women to find their confidence and see their beauty during cancer as well. She has done this through leading by example. In turn, Anna has found strength and inspiration from her followers. In Anna’s own words I had found my tribe - my sisterhood. I found inspiration and renewed strength through our shared experience. This past year Anna welcomed a son Mason into the world, who is a continual source of joy for her and her husband. What makes Anna feel gorgeous? Focusing on my self confidence, feeling good on the inside and then rocking a feminine outfit and a pink lip! Anna, mission accomplished! Who we are in this moment is not the same person we were in the past or who we will be in the future. Life experiences will continue to mold and shape us but it is personal growth that creates the masterpiece. #loveandbeloved

We are happy to introduce our #GorgeousWomanoftheMonth. A monthly feature on Gorgeous You that showcases a woman who inspires us and what makes her feel #GORGEOUS This month, meet Tina Winberg mother, outdoor & cottage enthusiast, multiple myeloma survivor and maker of the best eggs benny! Tina is an inspiration to all that know her for her ever-present optimism, strength and insatiable enthusiasm for life. In 2016 and after noticing a new and persistent pain in her rib... cage area, it was confirmed that Tina had fractured a rib. What was most concerning about this diagnosis was that Tina had no recollection of falling or injuring herself. Later, a CT scan confirmed that she had Multiple Myeloma or MM, a blood cancer that causes cancer cells to accumulate in the bone marrow, making them fragile and brittle. Your bones end up looking like swiss cheese. Tina was eager to share her story and help raise awareness about Multiple Myeloma, a lesser-known form of cancer. After doing some research and discovering that MM is most common in African American males in their 70’s, Tina struggled with her diagnosis as a young and healthy woman. No one I spoke to had even heard of MM. I felt really lonely Eventually Tina found a connection through a 15-year MM survivor and a Facebook group for younger MM warriors from coast to coast. Tina feels blessed for all of the love and support she received from her family and friends during her treatment and in particular, her daughter, whom she describes as her biggest supporter. I wake up every morning and send out positive affirmations to the universeI send out as much love as I can and surround myself with like-minded people. What makes Tina feel gorgeous? My new soul makes me feel gorgeous. Please read Tina’s full story on our website. https://gorgeousyoustyle.com//our-gorgeous-woman-of-the-mo
