Hi Swimmers! Remember on these warm days that many people will want to swim from the dock. Some folks have been unable to bring their kids swimming because others have parked their butts down and are just hanging out. Banfield Park is a beautiful place to sunbathe with lots of room. Let's share the dock.

Dear Gorge lovers, It is our sad duty to let you know that per the recommendations of our Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, the 2020 Gorge Swim Fest is officially cancelled. This comes as little surprise, but we want to make sure that you are all staying safe and healthy out there. If you have an opportunity to swim, please make sure that you maintain the recommended distance away from other people and stay home if you feel unwell.

At least the temperatures in the Gorge are getting more bearable. 16C last Wednesday.
